Exterior Renovation

Decks, fences, windows and the rest of the outside.

Composite decks, fences, window and door replacement, rotted trim and soffit repair, and wheelchair ramps, including the concrete footings underneath.

We pour the footings too.

A lot of exterior work sits on concrete: deck footings, fence posts, pergola piers and ramp landings. Most remodelers sub that part out. We pour it ourselves, so the part holding everything up is built to the same standard as our driveways.

Exterior work we do

  • Decks: composite and wood, including rebuilds on existing framing where it's sound
  • Fences and gates: vinyl, wood and chain-link, with posts set in concrete
  • Windows and doors: replacement and new openings, full-lite entry doors, patio and French doors
  • Trim, soffit and fascia: rotted wood cut out and rebuilt, then wrapped or painted
  • Siding prep and repair: housewrap, flashing and damaged sections
  • Wheelchair ramps: ramps and landings built to a safe slope
  • Pergolas and gazebos, framed and set on poured footings

Fix rot before it spreads.

Soft trim around a garage door or a window is usually a small repair if you catch it early. Leave it a few more winters and the rot reaches the framing behind it. We cut out the damaged wood, rebuild it, and flash it so water goes where it should.

Accessibility ramps

We build ramps and landings for homeowners and families who need safer access now, not months from now. We'll measure the rise, lay out a run that meets a safe slope, and tie it into a landing at the door and your driveway or walk.

Common Questions

The straight answers.

Do you build composite decks?
Yes. Composite decking doesn't need staining, won't splinter, and holds up to Ohio weather far better than untreated wood.
Can you replace just a few rotted boards or trim pieces?
Yes. Small rot repairs are worth doing early. We'll cut out and rebuild what's damaged and match it to what's there.
Do you install fences?
Yes: vinyl, wood and chain-link. Posts are set in concrete. If you're in an HOA, check the approved styles and heights before you pick a fence.
How long does a wheelchair ramp take to build?
Most residential ramps take a few days once the layout is set. We'll give you a schedule at the estimate.
