In town and out in the county
Delaware is two kinds of work for us. In the city, it's driveways, walks, steps and patios for established and newer neighborhoods. Out in the county, it's bigger slabs on bigger properties: pole barn floors, shop floors, long rural driveways and the aprons that tie them to the road.
Pole barns and shop floors
A barn floor is a big, flat pour that has to drain to the doors and carry real equipment. We run a full crew with power trowels for a consistent interior finish, pour 6" or 8" where tractors, trailers or RVs will sit, and can pour over radiant tubing for heated shops. See barn and shop floors →
Long drives: concrete, gravel or both
For long rural lanes, a full-length concrete drive isn't always the best use of the budget. Many owners pour the apron and the pad in front of the garage and keep the long run in gravel. We do both: concrete where it earns its keep, plus regrading and re-stoning washed-out or rutted gravel lanes and turnarounds.
