Driveways that have seen a few decades
A lot of Gahanna's neighborhoods were built from the 1960s through the '90s, so many original driveways and aprons are now cracked, settled or flaking. When a slab that age starts failing, it's usually the base underneath that's done, not just the surface. Resurfacing won't fix that. A proper tear-out and repour will.
Every Gahanna driveway we replace gets the same build: old slab out, compacted gravel base, 4" reinforced pour, control joints cut, and a sealer applied before we leave to hold off road salt.
Walks, steps and stoops
Front steps that have pulled away from the porch and walks that tip toward the house are the most common small jobs we see in older neighborhoods. Both are quick to fix and make an immediate difference in how a house looks and how safe it is to walk up to.
Year-round work
Concrete stops for the coldest months, but we don't. Winter is when our renovation crew handles kitchens, baths and basements, and our seasonal snow removal contracts cover driveway, apron and walks every storm over 3 inches.
