Right next door
Lewis Center sits just north of our base in Westerville, so it's one of the closest places we work. That makes estimate visits quick to schedule, and it means we're nearby if anything ever needs a second look.
Newer neighborhoods, same Ohio clay
Much of Lewis Center was built from the 1990s onward. The houses are newer, but the ground under them is the same heavy central-Ohio clay that heaves and settles with every freeze and thaw. Builder driveways poured on a thin base are now showing it with cracks at the garage, a sunken apron, or a walk that's pulled away from the steps.
We rebuild from the base up: tear-out, compacted gravel, 4" reinforced pour with properly spaced control joints, and a sealer applied before we leave.
Patios and outdoor space
Plenty of Lewis Center backyards started with a small builder patio or a deck that's reaching the end of its life. Replacing a tired deck with a ground-level concrete patio is one of the most common upgrades we do, and it means no more boards to stain.
